In late 2009 Mondial by Nadia Neuman opened its door in the elegant and timeless Strand Arcade, Sydney. An extension of the renowned Mondial: Pink Diamond Gallery in the Queen Victoria Building, Mondial by Nadia Neuman is managed by acclaimed jewellery designer Nadia Neuman.

Nadia Neuman is the daughter of Mondial founder, Fred Neuman. Growing up with both parents in the jewellery trade, Nadia naturally fell in love with fancy coloured diamonds. As she grew older, she found that her artistic nature fit perfectly into the specialist area, which led to her creative role in the family business today.

After completing a design course at the Gemmological Jewellers Association, she took her first steps into the jewellery world by opening her own jewellery wholesaling business. Here she designed unique pieces, using exotic gemstones from all over the world and sold them to select high-end jewellers around Australia.

In 2005, Nadia joined her father’s business, Mondial: Pink Diamond Gallery, to take on the role of head jewellery designer. In this role Nadia was able to be as creative as she liked with the things she adored most—natural coloured diamonds. Specifically, rare and breathtaking pink diamonds, sourced from the Argyle Mines in Western Australia, where the majority of the world’s pink diamonds are produced.

Since designing for her family business, Nadia’s creative flair has not gone unnoticed, with her designs being recognised by prominent industry bodies. Most recently, Nadia designed the ‘Four Seasons Cuff’, which won the Fancy Fancy Award at the Harper’s BAZAAR Diamond Guild Australia Jewellery Awards in 2009.

Her ‘Truth Love Desire’ necklace which explored the intangible subject of human emotion was also well received, winning the Diamond Design Awardat the Australian Jewellery Awards held by the Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA) in 2008.

Nadia’s creative flair and talent is not only recognised in Australia, her beautiful creations adorn necklines in Hollywood, as she designs for celebrities on a regular basis.

Mondial by Nadia Neuman reflects Nadia’s contemporary style and love of rare and exquisite coloured diamond jewellery. Working in the store herself, customers have the opportunity to sit and design pieces of jewellery to truly reflect their personality and style.
