Mondial proudly supporting the Uluru Statement from the Heart

As an Australian family-owned and operated business, Mondial Pink Diamond Atelier are not only passionate about creating exquisite fine jewellery but also deeply committed to social justice and making a positive impact on our community.

It is with immense pride that we express our support for the Uluru Statement from the Heart through a special collaboration with The Uluru Dialogue and Alison Page, resulting in the creation of the limited edition 18ct gold “Uluru Statement Supporter Pin”. Designed by the exceptionally talented Aboriginal artist and designer Alison Page, a proud Tharawal woman from La Perouse in Sydney, our beautiful pins can be personalised in white, rose, or yellow gold, and even set with diamonds, reflecting the uniqueness of each individual.

The design of the pin holds great significance. It symbolises the Piti, Tjutinypa, and Tjara, which were bestowed upon esteemed members of the Referendum Council: Aunty Pat Anderson AO, Noel Pearson, Professor Megan Davis, and Mark Leibler AC. These precious gifts were presented on May 26, 2017, by Pitjantjatjara Elder Sammy Wilson on behalf of the Mutitjulu Community.

  • The Piti represents the message traversing the vast expanse of Australia, carrying with it the hopes and dreams of the people.
  • The Tjutinypa, described as the tool for continued engagement with politicians, symbolises the power of dialogue in effecting meaningful change.
  • Lastly, the Tjara embodies strength and resilience, standing as a staunch defender of the Uluru Statement, ensuring that its profound message remains resolute.
